MOOver PROPOSES CHANGES TO RT 53 AND SATURDAY WHITE LINE

Release Date: November 18, 2023

WILMINGTON:  The MOOver is proposing changes to two routes effective December 11, 2023.

The Route 53 Bellows Falls-Brattleboro’s second morning run is proposed to add the Multicultural Community Center of Southern Vermont (MCC) on 122 Birge Street in Brattleboro before resuming its second morning return to trip to Bellows Falls. It will add seven minutes to the run, but it removes a transfer at the BTC which requires delaying the Blue Line’s departure. The Blue Line will leave on time and MCC riders can stay on the 53 bus. The proposed schedule is available online at www.moover.com/route/bellows-falls-brattleboro/?ts=2#ts2 , onboard any Red, White, Blue Line, or Rt 53 bus, or by calling 1-888-869-6287 weekdays 7:45 am-5:00 pm.

The Saturday White Line schedule proposes to add three runs to the Winston Prouty Center, Living Memorial Park, and the BMC. That line is served weekdays but not on Saturday. Adding it will allow riders to attend the Winter Farmer’s Market as well as the other three locations. The number of White Line trips to Hinsdale, Walmart, and Putney Road will not change, but the times will. The proposed schedule is available online at www.moover.com/route/brattleboro-white-line/?ts=2#ts2 , onboard any Red, White, Blue Line, or Rt 53 bus, or by calling 1-888-869-6287 weekdays 7:45 am-5:00 pm.

The MOOver is holding a public information meeting on Tuesday, November 28th at 1:00 pm in the Hanna Cosman Room of the Brattleboro Municipal Center on Main Street in Brattleboro.
