MOOver ANNOUNCES UNION STREET BUS STOP CHANGES
Release Date: December 4, 2024
BRATTLEBORO, VT The MOOver is changing the Union Station bus stop as the new bridge to Hinsdale opens.
The Blue Line bus that serves Union Station will no longer be going down Bridge Street to the Amtrak Station. Instead, the bus will travel along Vernon Street/Route 142 south to the new bridge.
This change eliminates the bus stop at Union Station on Bridge Street for the time being. There is no room to turn the bus around on Depot Street nor in the train station parking lot, which is full of construction equipment. There may be room when the train station renovations are complete sometime in the future.
The closest bus stop going to the train station is the BTC. There is no room to safely put a bus stop or for riders to stand along Vernon Street going to Walmart. There is a new bus stop at 10 Vernon Street going towards Brattleboro which has room to safely load/unload from the bus.
The Blue Line schedule will not change, nor will the Red and White Line schedules. All MOOver route schedules are available at www.moover.com.
