WILMINGTON:  On September 1, 2017 MOOver General Manager retired after 17 years of service to the company. Christine Fayette became the company’s General Manager after an extensive and lengthy training period.

Terk joined the company on January 31, 2000 as Special Programs Manager. She was instrumental in starting and organizing the company’s senior van programs. Over time, she wrote the company’s compliance policies, helped with grant writing, and then became General Manager on July 1, 2015.

“Jan will be missed so very, very much” said SEVT CEO Randy Schoonmaker. “She was always behind the scenes, making things happen and keeping them going. We could not have built the new Wilmington facility without her. We wish her a long and happy retirement.”

She will be moving to California in October. A retirement dinner was held in her honor on September 10th.

Fayette has been running the company since August 1st and has been training since mid-February. She has an extensive background in hospitality and administration, and has lived in the Valley for 18 years.

“The MOOver will not miss a beat with Christine” said Schoonmaker. “Between her lengthy training and skill level, she has already blended into the operations and culture at this company.”

The MOOver enters its 22nd year on Thanksgiving Day and has provided almost 4.5 million rides.
