Deviations are available up to 1/4 of a mile upon request at least 24 hours advance. To request a deviation call us at (802) 464-8487.

 January 9, 2017

WILMINGTON – The MOOver enjoyed its second busiest holiday week in its 20-year history, setting records on two routes.

The system carried 34,036 riders from December 25-January 1, second only to 2010’s record of 35,860. The Greenspring route set a record for 4,359 rides, and the Bears Crossing Suntec route did its best-ever with 2,895 rides.

“Thank you to our riders, drivers, mechanics, and staff” said Jan Terk, MOOver General Manager. “We had several days of traffic and weather delays, and our riders were very patient and supportive”.

The MOOver usually provides around 275,000 rides annually. Its busiest route is the Route MOOver route between Wilmington and West Dover which can do 80,000 rides in a good year.

Overall, the MOOver has provided 4.5 million rides in its 20-year history. It ranks behind only Burlington and Rutland as Vermont’s largest ridership providers.
